Rob LeBoeuf, Founder & Principal
Rob founded Gravel Executive Resource Consulting in 2013 to offer executive-level insight rooted in real-world leadership. With decades of experience spanning both people-driven and operationally complex businesses, he brings practical, cross-industry expertise to clients looking to improve performance, build stronger teams, and lead with greater impact.
A strategic and energizing leader, he’s known for driving execution and improving organizations at every step. Proven in conceptualizing and delivering on vision, he’s led cross-functional teams and departments while maintaining a strong track record in financial management, human resources, operations, and compliance. His experience extends across public and private sectors and includes oversight of finance, legal, IT, HR, compensation planning, training, compliance, crisis management, performance measurement, and organizational development. In addition to serving on private company boards, his public company board experience spans over a decade—focused on governance, compensation, board evaluations, and succession planning.
With leadership experience across a wide range of industries, he’s held executive roles overseeing key business functions from HR and finance to technology and operations. That broad base gives him a clear view into how organizations function—and where they stall. As a result, he’s become a trusted partner for companies facing growth challenges, operational resets, or transformational shifts.
He’s led high-growth brands, established organizations, and start-ups—and has steered mergers, acquisitions, and turnarounds along the way. In CEO, COO, and Chief of Staff roles, he’s built new capabilities, stabilized underperforming operations, and positioned businesses for scale. Whether working with private equity-backed ventures or large multi-unit companies, he brings steady, experienced leadership to complex challenges—and a track record of making organizations better.
